Don’t hold it against him, but Chris Taylor is a die-hard Jayhawk fanatic and beleaguered Chiefs devotee due to his Kansas City roots. Instead of following his NBA and NFL dreams, though, Chris fell in with the ‘theatre crowd’ and spent his college years studying at Catholic University in DC and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. After a stint in advertising and roles with a New York theatre company, he took his act west and landed in Los Angeles to edit and produce interactive projects for Upper Deck and Todd-AO. His mom was very proud when she saw his name on CBS as an “Assistant Editor” – a heady moment to be sure – if only for a fraction of a second as it sped by. While in LA, Chris fed his appetite for theatre by performing with world renowned comedy troupe, The Groundlings.
Making his way to Dallas in 2002, Chris began working for a DVD/CD-ROM production house, producing DVDs and CD-ROMs for such companies as Hasbro, Mary Kay, and several Fortune 500 companies. Next came a post production facility, where he continued building relationships with corporate clients and advertising agencies, helping them bring their visions to the screen.
Chris is thrilled to be here with the fine folks at AMP – except Russ – he looks shifty.
